Yes, the excitement is building. Going to clean the car and fit the Le Mans exhaust back on at the weekend (the G Pipe I had just removed for being too loud!).

Can anyone recommend a route from Calais, I'm going for the first time and was looking at a direct route, not such a great idea apparently.

Cannot wait now.

Look forward to a get together in the pit village champagne bar, 4pm on race day, shortly after Porsche have established a crushing lead in both classes

Footie will be on the big screen which should be conveniently viewable from.............

the champagne bar.

Our group of fifteen is hyped like never before. I don't know why, but the level of anticipation this year is ridiculous. I have high hopes for an epic weekend. See you on the other side...

Have a safe trip guys and lots of fun!

Can't wait for the Classic Le Mans! I think there is still 1 place left in our group if anyone wants another dose of Le Mans action in 3 weeks time!

Remember to watch out for the Gendamarie on the toll roads, I saw 2 guys dressed in full camo gear looking like a pair of snipers in the grass at the side of the toll road taxing drivers and their friends collecting the revenue at the next peages booth.

Mads Friday eve was good to watch outside blue sud camp site too

Have a good weekend guys, wish I was going!

Back from my first Le Mans and it was amazing. Access is so much better then f1 and the whole thing just seems a lot more relaxed. Spotted a few gorgeous 964s, inc Lemas. Few porsche related pics below, sorry not the best quality as these ones are from my phone:

And bumped into this guy!!
