Hard to say? To be honest I'd rather not sell it, but I will not have the time to put into it for a few more years yet, and I would rather put the money into my airplane that the whole family can enjoy now.

What is a good complete 3.6 worth? $6-9k?

I was thinking someone with some experience could put a value number on it all as a package.

$15k-20k project. ($25-30k parted out)

Id say it would take $20k to install the engine, finish the body work and paint it....

A picture of the body in its current state would help...

You'll get a lot more if you part it out -- the narrowbody C4 + engine in one package and the widebody parts (quarters, fenders, side skirts, bumper covers) in another package. You'll get a lot more for Package #1 if you install the motor and get it running. You'll probably get more than your money back fixing the damaged QP. Package #2 (widebody parts) should get you several thousand dollars. I would be interested in the widebody parts if the price is right.

Now this would be a perfect candidate to RWB. A car that needs some TLC rather than cutting up a perfectly good one. hmmmmm...... Like you said tbennett017, sooo tempting.

Could be a great project for someone who has the time, energy and dedication to put it all together!

So tempting since he's local to me...projects like these almost never come by here in Canada.

Would you consider selling the turbo wing? My narrow body 964 is a stage one turbo and I want to add an intercooler.

This would be a perfect candidate for me.

let me know if you ever decide to part anything out?

Jeff

Hello Jeff,

Sorry, but selling it all as a package.

All the best,

Hello everyone,

Thank you to all those who expressed interest in my 964 widebody project.

The car is now tentatively sold pending payment.

I have tried to respond to all those who have written to me (there has been a lot) as soon as I have been able to, however I have been traveling across the country with work for the past few days now, and I'm sure my responses have seemed glacial to some.

I'm sure that the new owner will be having a lot of fun with the project, and I am envious of him.

If something goes off the rails, like the logistics of picking up the car with sooo many parts, I wll repost the car for sale again and contact those who had expressed interest.

Thank you,
Michael
