RUF CTR, the only one ever made for Canada

Love the writer's description of driving this car.

Did the author really say this car has a 964 tub?

Another example of marketing masquerading as journalism; the article seems to be a thinly veiled advertisement because that car happens to be for sale:

The ad says "enquire about the price". Any guesses?

Ad or not it was a good read.

I can't even guess what this beast would be worth. The PO of my car bought it from Wessiach. Imo they are known for quality cars with high prices.

I tried to go back to sloancars to look at pictures to compare this article with the 1990 CTR C4 he listed a month or two ago - and note that not only is it off the "inventory" list, but also didn't make the "sold" category. Perhaps he kept it for himself?

At any rate - I'm curious about the chassis, as Stef indicates that they were all torsion bar. But the Sloan car is C4.

Also, the interior, as I remember it from the photos, was more "964" than 3.2.

There's nothing on the google, aside from a couple of exterior shots showing a substantially larger tail base.

It looks like a G series, look at the heater. It doesn't have the 964/993 CCU on the dash witch is needed for most fans. It was probably built in 90 with a G serie donor.

It was the subject of a feature article in Excellence a couple of years ago. The owner posted on Pelican at the time.
There are videos of it on YouTube as well.

There were one or two cars built off 964 chassis. Not part of the 29 RUF VIN "Yellowbirds" but conversion done by RUF.

Saw this in person a couple weeks ago. Love it.

Yeah they had this beauty in the Weissach shop (Vancouver) for a "just out of storage" refresh when we were there for Porsche Club tech night a few weeks ago. It was quite a thrill to get up close and personal with this iconic 964 based RUF 911!

No mention was made of it being for sale at the time but obviously they have some sort of arrangement since it is listed for sale on the Weissach site as noted above.
