Anyone running KWs with Rennline camber plates
I've just got my new KW struts mounted with Rennline camber plates, but I'm not sure about the fit. I'm using the Rennline supplied KW specific nut and washers, but I end up with about 6mm of threads exposed on the nut. The nut is 26mm deep, so I have 20mm of thread contact, but it doesn't seem right. There is also no way of holding the strut rod to torque the nut. I don't really want to use an impact gun.
Thanks for any input.

Thanks, I've been in contact with Rennline. I'm just curious about other Rennlister's experiences with installing them. I've noticed a similar thread exposure in other pictures and wondered if there were any issues.

Well it seems that the Rennline camber plates work for KW V1/3, but the clubsports are different. Still waiting for information from KW and Rennline on how to proceed. The Rennline camber plates had a special top nut created on the recommendation of Singer who uses them with their KW V3 equipped base models.

I resolved the issues I had with the fitment of the KW Clubsports with the Rennline camber plate. I didn't run the spacer washer and Rennline machined the top mount nuts to allow access to the 10mm strut top. Seems to be some differences in the length of the top rod on different versions of the KWs.
Nuts machined down.
Lots of room now for the socket.
My newly acquired pass through socket.

That drastically reduces the nut's contact patch w/ the socket, correct? Any concern about that?
So you're running the C2 clubsports or the Carrera RS clubsports? What is your ride height like, since running those monoball top mounts is supposed to result in a higher ride height compare to the standard mounts, given equal spring perch settings.

The socket grips the nut and I'm torquing the 10mm strut so it isn't an issue.
