From the description:

"The Carfax shows that junk and salvage titles were issued in June 2002 followed by rebuilt titles from 2004 onward"
Looks like a slight error on that $40K bid, down to $4K corrected on BAT.

'Slight' error... Gotta love these bidding sites. Never thought I would see a wrapped car up there with original paint examples. But I guess you can put anything on auction these days.

The ad on the wrapped car is terrible, i'm really surprised BAT is allowing such vague incomplete ads to be posted. First he didn't have any videos up, and there is no PPI, no inspection on the body (being its a salvage car) no upclose pics of the gaps and a wrapped car where you can't see the paint condition? come on! ..seller leaving money on the table and BAT being careless imo allowing such ads, takes away from their "niche"

I can't count how many of these I have looked at for potential buyers and how much crap is out there. It has gotten to the point I can't look at these cars without having any tiny fault become glaring.

The back end of the blue car was hit and hit hard. They tried to doctor it up but it is quite apparent. Not only does the back end droop like it crapped itself but when you zoom in on the rear panel here it should be quite apparent. The rear bumper black rubber seal should be straight to the back end I would say the blue car is at 10 degrees downward angle and the wheel arches are wrong more ST than 964 meaning the tub is tweaked.

The least they could have done was replace the damaged part but this looks like a fifth grader did the repair.

They totaled Jetta's car for less damage.

It looks like the opening for the rear lid latch is also heavily bondo’ed. You can see someone tried reshaping it and didn’t do a great job.

As already mentioned, there’s no such thing as a great deal anymore.

where did you see it was sold? The pelican ad doesn’t say that unless I’m missing something?

its a cool car. very curious where it is going. I can't wait until I'm at a stage in life where I can work on projects again...
