Part of me doesn't even recall seeing an asking price but then another part thinks they saw ~$249-295k range? I need coffee.

Entertaining read. Thank you for sharing! Now I'm really glad they didn't accept my offer the day it was listed.

Pretty steep asking but it does like minty fresh.

/\ That car has been on Craigslist for weeks. He's firm on the $75k price. Its a nice car but the cashmere interior isn't my style and its at a premium price.

This for sale in Canada; nice and clean (and same colour as mine); no connection to seller.

Great exchange rate in Canada.

But its an automatic.

Listing of the year right here boys. Take notes. This is how you sell a car and get top dollar value.

SuperUser's car seemed super nice and I really expected it to sell at $60k considering how some of the folks on here like to talk up the 964 market and drum up a buzz about how "good cars" are still selling for a lot of money.

But then noticing the offers being quote by people who actually actively participate in the 964 market (i.e. Opo) I think there is a decent spread between list prices and what they actually sell for.

Maybe SuperUser was pretty firm on his ask and I guess the right offer never came in. I wonder if that eBay listing is consignment or if he sold it to this dealer. If it's the latter, then you gotta wonder how the dealer is gonna make decent money on the sale if SuperUser unsuccesfully listed it for 3-4mo.

Think bid/ask spread has become much wider as hearing market is very soft nowadays
