I bought the car in 2005 with 28,600 miles. The car now has 45,900. I have only a spotty history of the car’s ownership before I bought it, but now I’ve had it for the last 11-1/2 years.
Clean title, no liens.
Receipts for expenses since I’ve owned it
Garaged every winter
Have under-tray (though never used), tire inflator and tool kit, complete manuals
Car is stock except for LUK flywheel upgrade from Freudenberg, rebuilt distributor with new belt /vent kit, replaced gas springs on engine lid and hood, replaced one of the heater’s servo motors, plastic panel that folds below wing was replaced, new plugs and plug wires were installed when the flywheel was done.
Car has normal paint wear but no dings. The rear wing does have a crack in the front left corner, The oil temp/pressure gauge has a crack across the lower part of the glass (I bought a couple used gauges to borrow a lens, but never did the fix), there’s a mark on the rear bumper where the previous owner must have backed into a garage door hinge.
Included with sale: Everything listed above, a pair of new Bilstein rear shocks and a pair of NOS front Boge struts. (purchased when I was going to lower the car, I never did) The 964 Enthusiasts Guide and the Specifications Book that I have used for maintenance will be bundled with the manuals.
Reason for sale: business opportunities require quick investment cash
Contact me by Email and I will respond as best I can to your questions. foxfordapr@comcast.net

Haha. From the angles the pictures were taken the paint doesn't appear to be in great shape, despite the "very good condition" in the description. The asking price made me chuckle as well.

someone from Portland should "attempt" to see it in person,... although could clearly be a waste of time even if it is NOT a scam, given the seller has been smokin' some of his own online research dope {re: pricing}.
Never mentions mileage either, which screams scam too.
If it's real, & the seller finally realizes it's only a $25k sun-drenched car,... then maybe someone could make something of this C4 (assuming it doesn't have 150k of undocumented, non-maintained miles).
Hey KOTYKB,... The ad is now showing $46k. Did this ad originally show $55k???

He updated his advertisement and make it sound even worse than it originally did, I'm not sure how that's possible. Just yesterday it was in VERY GOOD condition, now today he says you'll need to spend $10k on rehab, how things change...
