Engine catch fire?
Garage fire that spread to the attic and just a tiny bit of the living space.
The engine is fine.
2 surgeries later and a few skin grafts, I'm healing up fine (burns on arms, mostly right arm).

Wow, glad to hear you're healing up, wishing you a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear, health, home and car a trifecta of grief. Sounds like your on the path to recovery, did you not consider trying to buy back? Curious what the insurance company would have offered.

It's a C4 (they say C2)
It's a 5spd manual (they say automatic)
I have over $60k in service/upgrade receipts
Both the car and I suffered 2nd degree burns on April 16th (house fire). Car was pretty much unscathed when it was moved from the garage to the
driveway, but the heat from the garage was too great. Did not have time to move it onto the street, had to rush back inside to get family out (they are all fine).

No I did not consider a buy back. I would have no where to store it and most of my focus will be on the rebuild of the house for at least the next year.
I think I got a generous settlement from the insurance Co. (just a standard policy, not an agreed value policy).
Now that I've owned/driven a 964 for the past 12 years, I do prefer the older cars. Probably a long-hood 911 or 912, perhaps a 356.

Sorry to hear but glad everyone is safe!
they also list it as an auto but it’s clearly not.

... and they say "rear wheel drive".
For anyone looking at the decklid, one of the prior owners added the "S" when they installed a supercharger.
