New top, new leather seats....

No, I saw the listing before it went down and it already had those listed and the pictures are the same. The seller simply took the ad down last night and reposted it with the same description/pictures but with a higher price, probably thinking he had it too low at $27,500. The current owner must have just bought it because it was listed for $39,950 by Luxury Auto Leasing in Marina Del Rey a couple months ago and it already had the new top and new leather seats judging by the pictures. http://carforums.net/car/Porsche-911...CB296XNS460109.

Sorry, I should have been more specific... Did a leaky top, lead to new seats? Just a buyer-be-aware thing.
Man, you really watch the 964 market!
Speaking of:
@ 40K and one day to go.... Can't wait to see what the White C4 sells for at Bring a Trailer

I do and it's a disease. I was/am actually thinking of adding another one.
That car belongs to RL Sponsor Switchcars.

I just watched this auction play out on Bring a Trailer auctions. Four days ago a bid of $40,000 was placed. In the last ten minutes the bids went from $40,000 to $43,250. Buyer's premium on bring a trailer auctions is 5%, so sales price was $45,412.
From the seller's description,
BaT Essentials
Lot #362
Location: Twinsburg, Ohio
Chassis: WP0AB2960LS451620
51k miles
Grand Prix White over black leather
Factory sport seats and sunroof
Major service and overhaul in 2011
Service history and clean Carfax included
Private Party or Dealer: Dealer
This 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe is a very original example with 51k miles from new finished in Grand Prix White over black leather interior. The car was sold new by Fred Baker Porsche/Audi in Bedford, Ohio where it still resides. It has had only a handful of owners from new and comes with partial service history including a stamped warranty booklet and detailed Carfax report viewable below showing the car was serviced regularly and maintained on schedule. The seller says the car has never been hit and that paint is mostly original. It is in excellent running and driving condition, having benefitted from a major service and engine-out overhaul in 2011 by Steinel’s Autowerks that included a top end rebuild with new piston rings. It is factory optioned with sport seats, sunroof, and working A/C, with painted Cup wheels the only departure from an otherwise unmodified example.

Leather is not listed in the option codes for this car. It is Pleather or Leatherette as Porsche called it.
