I do love those Strosek wheels. There was a set up for cheap last year, should have bought them

Gaz,

Off topic, but did you sell this to an "older gent"? Pretty sure me and the lads bumped into the owner during our drive out in the lakes last year!

Really like the look of them. Thanks for posting those pics. The best I've seen of them!

The Captain was doing a great 3 point turn earlier

Did your car turn up in the same condition that it left dry land?

Chris,

I sold it to Lad from the deep south not an older gent about my age lol
However I did notice it up for sale a couple of years later so not sure where/who has it now it was a nice motor with no rust an 87 G50 this is how it turned up at the house ! sorry for the thread hijack in regards the wheels I got them on ebay north america from Fred Opert racing who was the Strosek dealer at the time only three arrived which was a bit of a panic however strosek came good and sent me another one cost me £500 for the set

It made the journey just fine. My wait was a bit longer though, as it missed the first ship it was scheduled for because US Customs decided to inspect the container. They even make you pay for the inspection.

She's here!

How should I go about protecting her from rust? Waxoyl/Dinitrol?

superb, now the fun begins.

With regard to doing some resto/protection stuff I suggest(if you haven't already) that you start here:
