Just got my engine hardware back from the zinc plater

really like the zinc plate look...something to consider when I eventually dive in to an engine refresh.

Did the same thing a few months ago.

Only the company that did the job really ****ed up ... and at the end it was a real money pit for me

Prior to an engine detail, I stripped the yellow passivate off my 964 RS engine parts myself.

Stripped prior to plating :







During reassembly :



And and back in the car :

But is this isn't the same company as in the first post, right? This is some other plater.?

Beautiful - you can always tell a great car from the engine bay. Where did you get them done?

I can also let you have a tip for stripping the parts prior to re-passivating them.
