Default Which Momo steering wheel?

One on my first mods on my 964 will be to change the steering wheel, but not sure which one to choose.

Here´s my car:

Kinda fixated on leather since I am hearing that suede wears very quickly and definitely a MOMO.

Originally I thought of the Momo Mod 07, but not sure that the yellow inscription (easy to change) and yellow patch@12 (hard to change) will suit the interior:

Franks beauty:

Then I thought about the more classic looking Protipo, but not sure that if it will become too old looking for the 964. But from looking at pictures I really like the look of it:

From what I understand the Mod 07 brings the wheel closer to the driver which is a big plus, but other then that I don´t know id there is any difference.......

What would you choose?

So many MOMOs to choose from . Hunt about and see what you can find, a few rare ones out there that suit a 964.

My Momo Techart V32 is off to the trimmers tomorrow, took me ages to find, but got there

Mod 7 for me too. Having a Prototipo in my 'ol '76 BMW 2002, I think it would look a bit dated in a 964 cockpit, unless maybe if it were stripped down in minimalist style.

Had the Mod 07 in my RSA and loved it. Best steering wheel I've had and I've had MANY.

If you like the Mod 07, Jack mentioned the use of brake cleaner to remove the yellow script and leather paint/dye to change the stripe color. Here are more pictures of the results, pretty nice looking IMO.

Mod 07 here (suede).....for sure. Great wheel for the 964. I am so glad for the DIY Jack posted on changing the color. I'm def going to kill the yellow script. Leather paint in white might look good too.....

I like the Momo's but my car came with an OE Club sport and it seems to look just right, so no plans to change for now at least, but it does need a re-trim (How does a steering wheel get scuffed?)

Great stuff, I think this makes my choice easy. Buy the Mod 07 and change the color myself. I googled it, and it is a pretty simple process.

As for the OE club sport wheel, I have seen that in a 964 with the Porsche crest imbedded in the leather and did not like it. I think it looks to modern to the interior.
