Default 2 or 4?

....wheels that is. Not C2/C4.

Met up with a buddy this weekend for a drive... he prefers two wheels instead of four (that is when he's not underwater scuba diving!)

My 4X4 height looks great next to his enduro bike. It's all about the adventure!

Good times!

Looks like a good time! I prefer 2 wheels over 4 anyday of the week, that it's not raining of course!

Here's mine...

I liked 2 wheels better at one point...and then saw too many friends/acquaintances seriously injured. Now I stick to my cage, but fortunately I don't miss motorcycles much any more.

In my version I suffered the injuries; plate/7 screws in left arm, repaired ACL right knee, scoped MCL left knee. When my 2yo wanted me to pick him up and swing him around and I couldn't I realized the cost had gotten too high.

I had 5 off-road bikes at one point, but unlike Chase (sweet tagline!) I miss them every day. For about a year after I got my C4 I referred to it as "my new dirtbike."

Jetta - Is there something wrong with your camera? The ground looks to be a funny color to me. Its not all white like it is around here in New England.

Bloody hell - that's a wake up call. I had a close call last year - so damn lucky that all I broke was a hand bone, could have been the end of me that time.

I know I'll pack it in once I have kids - for the moment I'm just too stupid.

I went through a serious motorcycle craving period a few years back, fortunately the 964 + my wife + my other stupid hobbys that drain my wallet (primarily guns, mountain biking & kayaking) keep me pretty preoccupied any more, lol.

Hardtail, love it. If she were mine, I think the only thing I'd change is to swap out for a springer front end. Not a criticism though, she's great as is!

I totally sympathize, I miss my dirt bikes every day but after blowing out my left knee six years ago I haven't been able to ride one since. First race of a new season as well! Gutted, still I probably wouldn't have ended up with the 964 if it hadn't happened. Still got so much unfinished business on the bike. Still having physio now, not giving up lol!

Why thank you!

Frank, love the hardtail sporty. I was thinking about doing it to mine, but I opted to keep it comfortable for longer rides since I can use one of my dad's shovelheads. He's got 5, and parts to build 2 more rigid, old school bikes.

Just got a 1250 kit too

Wow some great lookin 2 wheelers......and for those that can't do 2 anymore, you can always go 4 in a 64 cab and get some of that open air feel and sound back.
