Not offered from Recaro, done after the fact. Brian from Rotiform had a similar pattern done to his A8s.

Hi Cobalt, the seats came without the hexagonal stitching, I had a upholstery shop do that. They also installed a air bladder for lumbar support.
*LPMM is correct and just beat me to it.

Those rear seats are fantastic. Hard to believe they are stock.

Here are some cheap but hopefully effective interior mods that I thought might be fun to share:

Some say black interiors feel like a black hole... so I added a thin, red adhesive strip across the lower dash. Silly I know, but I like the subtle highlight.

Yellow or red, 12 o'clock on the wheel...
For me, redline has to be at 12 o' clock too. (or 12:10)
The little blue indicator on the rev. dial reminds me to keep calm until I hit the blue mark on the engine oil temp gauge.
Simple to understand, and possibly helpful when other people drive your 964...

Haven't listen to the radio since I bought the car....
Also no smoking (/) in the car, don't want to tarnish that oil smell!
U.S. car, so no rear fog light... hate the empty spot so I made my own switch with a bottle cap (saluting my Austrian heritage).

I'm not very impressed with the radio delete plates that I've seen, so I found some wide Velcro material (the loop side) and it's a perfect fit for the CD players detachable face. Caveat... even though I don't listen to my radio, I'm afraid to take it out (and speakers too). I need to do it.... might be a 20 lb weight savings??

Switching seat backs was probably my most favorite mod. It's as if no one ever sat in the passenger seat... I kept finding myself looking over and admiring it's excellent condition and stiff bolsters. My driver's seat looks great also, so I didn't need to change it, but I thought I'd give it a break and switch sides. Seriously, you should try it.

Remove the useless cassettes in the holder, and now you have a free drink/storage container.

One last thing. I installed the hidden rear seat upper tether points for my kids cars seats. Awesome security. This interior mod, which is hidden by behind the panel, allowed me use use the 964 as my family car. Porsche: EVERYDAY MAGIC! I'm happy to say my youngest has grown out of her booster!

Oh, I forgot... I also have a D-Zug (metal) throtle pedal. Replaces the cheap plastic pedal. Now I can heel-toe!

I do think it's time to spend some money on (black, metal) track floorboards and a dead pedal.
Love the less is more look.
Getting mine redone but with custom bolt in case and 2 matching race seats.
Not sure what they are doing, just asked them to clean it up and make it similar to an original RSA interior but race legal. I may race it in a few enduro's but probably mostly DE car now. Will circle back and post some pics when I get the car.

Pretty much set-up for business. Nice and tidy. I just added some grip tape to the driver's Rennline track floor. Gotta get one for the passenger side now. Will just go with plain black grip tape on that side. :-)

Here's mine...a few years since I did the refurb and the Recaro inserts are due for replacement. I love the look of the diamond stitching!

After months of work, I can finally post some progress pictures to this thread!
It's not complete but I had to share.

It started because the original carpet was tattered and falling apart in places. The rear parcel shelf and speakers were a mess and the door cards were worse for wear.

So, I stripped out the old carpet and sound deadener and cleaned up the cabin. Then laid down some Dynomat and padding around the tunnel.

I purchased an RS carpet kit from Appbiz and after talking with Bob I decided I'd do the installation myself. Using instructions found on the List I felt confident that I'd do a decent job.

The carpet really did turn out great. Pretty proud of the work.

Then I had some good quality vinyl diamond stitched with yellow thread to match the yellow stripe of my Momo steering wheel and the Appbiz door pulls.
I spent about 2 weeks getting that all put together. The actually upholstery of the door cards, and read panels/parcel shelf took about a week.

Let me know what you think!
