Well, maybe some center caps.

But seriously your car looks great.

Doberman

MTR: they're capped now and thanks!

Cobalt: thanks - quite different numbers from mine but I thought 'my' 9.6kg difference was too much (your numbers are only about 5lbs diff for 7&8s)

Another thing to consider is tire weight, I have found a difference of 1 - 2 lb. per tire between brands for the same size.....

Those Fikse FM5s I have are really light. Was surprised at the difference when I first drove with them.

Hunting down the PS pump leak ... Although it's very small as the fluid doesn't seem to be dropping much at all ...

Might have just been an overfill or mess from the electric pump fitting but I'm opening the covers for the first time as I'm doing the frown upside down DIY ....

Here's my pre inspection cleAn with prepsol and clean green mix ... Will let it soak a few hours and then hose off

But any typical places to look at for the leak? I'm hoping it's not the braided hose Ali fitting crimp but the hose does move when the pump is at full tilt i.e. Full lock on the wheels.

Any pointers?

well after a clean, re-covering with Tectyl spray (clear not yellow) and a quick 50km sprint
there is no sign of the leak .... maybe the elect PS pump reservoir was overfilled and what I say was the extra stuff expelled for some reason ... hmmm.

There might be a tiny sweat on the disc that faces to the rear and which covers the end of the input shaft but not sure ... anyways I think the bumper grill frown is mostly gone - might need a tweak; bending metal not so easy especially when it's hard to get a proper hold on and quite thick (ie the under-bumper mounting point metal lip) .. but hopefully I'll get it perfect.

My wife hit the rear fender a while back with a laundry basket and put two scratches there. Wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for touch up paint/processes. They're noticeable scratches, but not very deep. Saw Suncoast has touch up paint, any experience with that? Any experience with other touch ups that you've used successfully?

You can get factory paint from automotivetouchup.com in both touch-up bottles and aerosol cans for larger jobs.

Default dumb question 101

Would leaving the key in the ignition in the off position cause a battery drain. The reason I ask this is I did this for about a week and the battery was drained.
I normally always keep the key outside of the car when not in use.
I hate not knowing if its going to start.

I always leave mine in the ignition in the off position while in my garage. I have never had a battery drain for what it's worth.

Thanks guys for your responses. When I first bought the 964 it had a battery drain that mysteriously when away. I guess it may be back.
