Finally!
750 HP..., still very impressive on a C2.
Enjoy it to the max!

Picking up Saturday, I'm in Copenhagen now and on the way back pass by Hamburg to pick up the car. Drive home to Amsterdam and see how quickly I can put the 2500km on to run in the engine and do a final tuning of the VEMS ECU. Then I'll post a final graph and numbers. Anywhere between 700-750 would be fantastic!

This remains the best build on these boards - full of Ruf-challenging, narrow-body, sleeper goodness!

Picked up the car in Hamburg last Friday and drove it home to Amsterdam.
Engine is super sweet, 520hp and limiter at 5500rpm for now. It sounds better than before and actually kind of feels like it pulls just like the previous engine. So that promises a lot when I have the final tuning done after the run in.
So much fun to drive, can't wait to get it back next week with the new carbon ceramic brakes.
I'll post some photos of the brake system when mounted and ready.
Thanks to Mathias Höing for the excellent build.

Hi Thomas,
please keep posting!
Guilty admission - I've been regularly loitering with intent on the 964 boards waiting to hear how this magnificent project is progressing!
It would be great to get updates on the running-in and tuning process.
I stand-by my previous comment that this is the coolest build on these boards - a thorough re-engineering without becoming an over-decorated trinket.
There's nothing like a sleeper.
I'm following a similar path with my 944 turbo.

That's what the 964 does best. Love the subtle but pumped up rear fenders! Meaty

Good to read it's back!
Must have been a long wait...
Please keep us informed on the brakes, must be the first 964 with carbon brakes?

As usual, NineMeister has been there before, and a long time ago... (so much 9M gold in Colin's old threads):
