This is my current brake setup:

-Front 993TT, 322/32 discs
-Rear 993C2, 299/24 discs
-993 master cylinder (23,81mm)
-993 vacuum (9”)
-Proportioning Valve (45bar)
-Castrol SRF brake fluid
-ABS 3-channel BMW E30 M3 Cup
-Guard 40/60 Diff
-Brake cooling ducts

Switching between regular brake pads for daily and Pagid Blue for the track.
I've always thought the brakes to be a bit lacking. Fading rather quick. Bleeding the brakes several times never helped much, after a couple of laps always double tapping the brakes to get the firmness.
I might have to work a bit on my braking technique, this is very possible.

Why do you have a M3 abs unit, and not a 964 ?
And is there a difference in the M3 and a M3 cup unit ?

Big difference, its race ABS. Lot more aggressive. Didn't like the original ABS at all.
This is a nice solution as its 3-channel as well.

Depends which Blue, there is race blue as well. But I'll look into that again.

I'm looking into new wheels. The current 18" Fuchs are not the best fit for the C2. I know I am running slightly wide tires in the rear but I always felt I could do better. Possibly an ET thing. I believe I'm running 21mm spacers in the rear!

I also have a set of nice 18" Cup wheels, the JARA ACP's. But those are very heavy compared to the Fuchs i'm running. I like the looks a lot, they fit much better with the car and the ET is better I think. Not sure though.

But there is one set of wheels I always have in the back of my mind...the Volk TE37's. Lightweight and strong, and a nice simple look. I just had a little bit of the feeling that these made the car look more 'tuned'. But I can't get rid of this itch...I guess I need to try these and just see.
Question is, what size would be good for me?

Can someone point me in the right direction? I know they have 18" 9 and 10.5 with the right ET's. Largest size in the rear would be 285 or 295 if possible. Front 225? or can I go higher?

Help!

Bought a set of OZ ultraleggeras for the 993.
Weight saving over 20KGs compared to Turbo Twists...
Not sure if they look good on a 964 though.

Not so sure about OZ's on the 964 either. Crazy weight savings though. The TE37's on the other hand...much better fit with the 964.

Which color though...I'm thinking about matt black again, like my current Fuchs.
Or some metal color could look good as well.

How about gloss black?
I think gunmetal would blend too much with the rest of the car.

In terms of looks, your Fuchs are hard to beat though imo
