Default P-Fix-It 964 Engine Rebuild DVD Now Available at Pelican Parts!

If you can turn a wrench and a screwdriver, you can work on the 964 or any air-cooled 911 engine. This DVD is designed to help Porsche 964 and early 993 owners develop the skills and confidence necessary to rebuild their engine. It's for the those Porsche owners who desire to dig deeper than just into the bottom of their pocket for their key, but into the heart of the machinery that ignites to life when that key is turned. It's about bringing your fear factor from a ten down to a zero. This DVD helps demystify DIY books, blogs, and photos by providing guidance on 'how to' in high-quality, step-by-step videos. Applies to early 993 engines as well!

Are you ready to assemble your 964 engine? You’ll love this DVD!

Denis posted on here about his videos, you can also check this thread for questions/comments. Looks to be very nicely done, although I would still need a huge dose of confidence to tackle such projects.

Hi Guys,

This is Denis. Thank you so much for sharing our links up above. Very flattering. Please feel free to ask any questions here or at Denis@pfixit.com. If you do decide to order, Pelican Parts has been great to work and we are very excited to work with such a great group of people. I got to meet Wayne and his great staff. Very cool place. Yes, Wayne is very smart and down to earth. We spent a good amount of time talking about Porsches before he went off on a pretty cool technical/automotive project.

About this video, I rebuilt the engine and my business partner Darren, shot the video and made sure the lighting was right and my head was out of the way. It's not that hard, just takes patience and organization. It's fun and very rewarding. Have your machine shop do all the measuring for you and tell you what bearing size to buy and let you know if your pistons and cylinders are re-usable. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to use my same pistons/cylinders with 130,000 miles on them. The car runs better with more miles I put on it.

Thank you all and Pelican Parts,
Denis
