Right folks time to put your money where your mouth is:

The dates are:
Fri. 28th March Castle Combe
Sun. 1st June Blyton Park
Sun. 5th Oct Snetterton.

Entry is £130 and you get lots of runs for that, so it is better value than a track day imo.

You can now call to book into the three events on 08451 25 26 23. Tell them you are from Rennlist and they will need info from you:
•The event you wish to book
•Full name and forum username
•Email address
•Contact Number
•Car; make and model
•Card Details

I'd suggest we run one class for all cars to keep things simple. The regs would be something like:

•Any 964, 993, 3.2 Carrera, 911 SC, 944, 924, 928 etc
•naturally aspirated (rules out turbo engine swaps and supercharged cars)
•tyres from MSA list 1a, 1b (ie road tyres or road legal track day tyres are fine)

Get you name down now as the June and Oct dates look like they'll fill up quick. The Castle Combe date looks a little under subscribed so it would really help to put your name down for that one at least if you are up for it, so they can be sure they have the minimum number.

Life's short and you have a fine automobile and this is a chance to compete in it with a minimum of hassle. So do the washing up, put the bins out and ask the wife nicely.

Post on here when you have called and signed up

I can book at the end of Feb.. maybe a bit earlier as current expenses (964 motor and Alfa) have temporarily drained the coffers.
If you can please let me know if dates are filling up..

I'm calling Darin tomorrow to book all three myself

Something to point out is that you'll need a fire extinguisher, minimum 1.75kg ideally AFF type, mounted securely. Given a couple of nasty incidents in the press recently I can't help thinking this makes sense.

You can get a handheld extinguisher for £40 ish and the are a load of different 911 specific brackets available or you could easily fab your own if you are that way inclined.

Cool! Though have to admit to admin fail of booking a ski trip over the first event. Doh. Will book next two next pay day though...

question...my extinguisher is zip tied to my cage...is that ok? Easily reachable/ safe etc?

I think we're all in it for fun so class rules are that there are no rules ;-)

I'm definitely interested in June. In early stages of house move and so skint. Should be up for June though. If I get funds up earlier I'm in and possibly October too. It's kinda what I built Peppa for so rude not to.

Right then, I'm now booked and paid all three dates. I'm planning to do them in the 964 for now, I'm contemplating taking the GTR as "well as" or "instead of" depending.

So, pull you fingers out, I don't won't be the only 964 in the village.

Give Michelle at MLR a call on 08451 25 26 23. All you need is a credit card

I've updated the "suggested regs" a bit, seems fair to open it to any older Porsches basically. Having spoken to MLR, from their point of view they are happy for as many people to sign up as possible and they aren't too bothered about the exact clubs or models of cars involved.

If it means we can reach the critical figure so all the dates can go ahead then I'm sure we could even condescend to letting the odd mass produced kettle 996/7/1 join in
