even as I debate selling the car to fund the rest of my restaurant, im still working on the car. gauges are back, but were just restored not modified. pretty annoyed about that, but ill keep the name of the company that had them for 6 months to myself.
while in storage the passenger door received a door ding and a scratch. I didn't even bring the car home, just straight to the body shop. while its there for the PDR on the door, I figured lets make it a much larger project. now all the rock chips I received thanks to a Buddys 570s are being taken care of and the front license plate recess is being filled

Stopped by the shop to check in progress. Gonna need one more layer of this goop to even out the license plate recess. I took this time to cut out the smile just because I wanted to use air tools. We'll make a grille to fit that space. I think it's a huge improvement. Probably going to replace the 3.8rs style splitters I had as well.

Very happy with the way this is turning out. Still waiting on a new rubber trim for between the hood and the bumper. Mine had a weird discoloration in one spot that has bothered me for a while now

Looking good!
Not sure if you are aware but the easiest way to install that piece of trim is to rivet the plates on over the trim.

Fast approaching the 6th anniversary with my 964, and I think I have to move on. Less than 1,000 miles this year and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Also some life changes mean it's just not terribly practical to have 2 cars and a motorcycle. Time to go down to one and one. Sucks. Guess I'll be making a for sale thread soon. A fresh pic from last Wednesday picking the car up from my detailer and Rucker it away for winter. Would be sad if that was the last drive, but maybe it makes more sense to sell now before I remember just how special it is to drive

Just read this thread, what an incredible odyssey! I've never seen so many tow truck photos, LOL. Sorry to hear that you're thinking about moving on. You've clearly poured some heart and soul into the car. I hope it all works out for the best, whatever you decide.

^^ hell of a read isn't it? I make a point out taking tow pics. It's 100% time to move on. life changes require it. Besides having opened a restaurant 3 months ago, I've barely had time to drive it. So yea it's officially for sale. Have two friends who have floated it out to their people and I should probably get around to making a proper for sale ad. Maybe someone will read this and save me the trouble haha
