Default Alternator parts number - help

I need to replace bearing of my alternator. my car is convertible 964 year 1993.

I find a good source for repair kit :

http://www.aspwholesale.com/index.ph...1015&Submit=Go

BUT they ask me the Bosch alternator part number. i cannot provide because i did not remove the alternator yet.

I assume the alternator is original.
I find on internet several numbers
0 120 468 029
0 120 468 125

Can someone help me and confirm which should be the correct part number?

Thanks
Chris

Part number from Porsche 964 Katalog: 964 603 156 01
But I have seen other derivations: 964 604 156 AX

Here's a write up from Pelican if you haven' seen it already:

That "kit" uses the el'cheapo POS chinese voltage regulators. The VR you want is #928.603.142.00 available for about $50 from a Porsche dealer (try sunset imports). Or from any Bosch supplier as #1.197.311.040 for a bit less.

The X at the end of a Porsche part number denotes a remanufactured part.

Jason,......that VR is now $245. It certainly still a good buy if its not made in China.

The Bosch Aftermarket Catalog is available online. You can even compare the specs between part numbers. Just enter the old number and then click on the replacement number.
