Fitting bucket seats are 99.99% of the time a complete and utter **** ache - chopping, drilling, welding, all sorts of horrible fiddles. However, I'd heard an internet rumour (therefore dismissing it immediately as a lot of nonsense) that Recaro Profi SPG's, Recaro sidemounts and the recaro runners are a bolt for bolt direct fit for Porsche 964's, and I guess as a result 993's (and maybe 996?).

So I had a set of SPG's in my M3 and I decided to swap them out... and to my utter astonishment, they really do fit, bolt for bolt in the right place. The angle of the seat is even good, certainly no more offset than regular seats.

Your 964 looks great with the classic Ruf wheels! I've a pair of SPG's in my 964 for many years and it vastly enhanced my sense of the car's dynamics on the road.
