Default WTB - 964 Cabriolet in great condition

My beautiful 1991 C4 cab was recently hit by an idiot who ran a red light and wiped out the entire passenger side. The insurance company is calling it a total.

I am looking to find a replacement.

Must be a 964 cabriolet, manual 5-spd only and in perfect mechanical and cosmetic shape.

All colors considered.

I live in the Seattle area, so the closer the better.

Thanks!

Gary

Sorry for your loss and glad you are ok. I know someone with a red cab in beautiful shape but it has a tiptronic. Its red with tan interior and black top.

Thank you Rob, but I want a 5-spd manual only, no tiptronics.

There's a chance I may be buying the car back from my insurance company and reselling it, if anyone is looking for a project.

The title will be clean (not a salvage title) since I aready own the car free and clear.

Seems like it will still be a salvage title even though you own it outright. Looks like a simple enough repair though.

Gary, so sorry to hear this. I almost got sideswiped on 405 last week by a kid in a honda who was busy texting. I agree it does look fixable, is there just body damage?

Thanks. Plenty of crazy drivers out there.

I don't believe there is any frame damage. The car still drives fine, it just doesn't look very pretty and the passenger window won't go up.

clean title has nothing to do with liens or not; it has everything to do with a car that insurance has deemed damaged beyond a percentage of the value of the car. When the car is declared a total loss, it should get a salvage designation on the title, whether you own it or the bank does.

Washington State salvage title designation

I've listed the car on eBay if anyone is interested in it.

I hate to see it go, but it's time to move on.

Long live the C4.

I still have my perfect running cab with new top, new tires, new clutch 700 miles before mine was totaled in the front. Too bad your will go for so much loot. Hard to find a roller, but yours is still a nice car and far from a roller. Maybe I should just sell off my whole car with motor and tranny and start over..Sigh.

Your car need a fender, a door and some qp work, but is otherwise an extraordinary example. It's a perfect candidate for a widebody conversion.
