For me it’s simply doing the blower bypass and getting the pad keeper or something similar. Would love to reroute the AC lines, put a new pad, and remove the cruise but it will happen only if the engine ever gets dropped, otherwise too much hassle.

Yeah but my excuse is that I am contributing to a better weight distribution.

You could just replace it with the later plastic intake and save even more.

The A/C lines aren't worth removing the weight savings were insignificant and a PITA to put back in case you want A/C again IMO. Although the front condenser and fan are worth removing. Just cap off the lines if you do.

Hi cobalt, I have the plastic intake on Mine. I was just meaning to cut all the little bits off to tidy it up before I either paint or coat it. It turns out robt964 has done it, Its the look I'm after.

Rather than clean engine bay, I'd call it de-clutered...

I'm looking to swap to the later plastic intakes, does anyone know if there is an advantage to swapping to the later throttle body too and if it's even possible?

Bottom line, shut the lid, drive the thing, and stop whining.

For reference this is my 993 enginebay, pretty much the same as the late 964s. There is still a lot more to do in my bay, but it looks so much better than before.
