Well, I woke up and checked RL this morning like I always do, and I saw Ducks964's new thread located here:

It looks like the 964 forum is going to be flooded with TPC install threads for a while as I just picked up a used supercharger/intercooler last week. I'm going to install the kit myself but I'm currently in grad school so it will most likely be a slow process...

I believe I have one of the early TPC kits and I may look at upgrading several components, especially the ECU box. I've heard improvements have been made there. I may even look at going with an air to air intercooler like Juha G:

Here are a few pictures of my kit. I haven't had a chance to clean it up yet. I'm still waiting on the front intercooler radiator from the seller...should be arriving soon.

That's the spirit! I'm sure Duck will finish first considering I've had the parts for a week and haven't even cleaned them yet.

I'm also going to do the 30k maintenance that axl911 suggested on Duck's thread:

Once the kit is installed, I want the ability to monitor air intake temperature, exhaust gas temperature, boost, and air fuel ratio. I like the PLX stuff but I'd like to see all the data at once without having to cycle through the multigauge. I think I'll go with this Zeitronix unit unless there are other suggestions:

That is awesome. I will do my best to document my steps and anything that I run into along the way. I have some files I can send from the previous owner concerning the install. Just send me a PM.

Mine will take a little while as I have to plan to keep the car running as much as possible during the install. My wife hates when the car goes down for maintenance in the summer.

I also have the Zeitronix unit. IMO, it's the best out there with being able to monitor AFR, throttle, rpm, boost, air temp, and other stuff in one compact unit while data logging.

You can also buy the $99 dongle unit to log w/o a laptop.

If you do any sort of tuning or even monitoring, you need the logging.

I am still looking at the best way to set up the alarm for lean AFR when getting on boost.

I've got an old Innovate LM1, that I've used for this sort of thing in the past, I had to make my own electronics to log external boost/rpm/tps sensors. Things have really moved on! That latest Zeitronix ZT2 +LCD + Logger, is very cool, and really good value for money. I can't see that Innovate/AEM/PLX have anything to compete with it.

I currently have a Steve Wong Chip (91 octane with cat bypass) that I will most likely be selling. The TPC kit requires a stock DME chip, so please PM me if you know of one for sale. Not sure if this matters, but my car is a 1991 C2 with manual transmission.
