Default Blinking High Beams

The other night my high beams started blinking on while driving down a smooth road. Anyone else run across this?

I worked on a 964 where the low beams completely stopped working. The problem was the high-beam stalk on the steering column.

is the indicator on the dash illuminating too? did you try playing with the turn signal arm? mine has been messed up since i bought my car, and i have to hold the arm slightly forward for the lows to work. i have a new one waiting to go in, but momo is taking forever to ship my wheel!

Wondering if your switch at the stalk is failing. Have you put in up-rated bulbs? If you do without installing relays you might be over-taxing the wiring.

My dash indicator does indeed light up with the highbeams. Same sort of action of pushing the stalk forward would get them to turn off. My stalk switch isn't in great condition so I figure I'll need to look at the contacts and maybe a possible replace. @j Brakes? You think the brake sensor lines have an effect on the head lights?
