Default car transport company?

Any recommendations for a transport company, for transporting from east coast to midwest?
I have used Passport and Intercity and Reliable enclosed transport in the past with good success, but more than I would like to spend. Will also have some extra parts to ship with the car (bumper, engine cover, seats).

Call this number 1-602-725-1612 (sorry but do not remember his name), he got mine carried from AZ to MD, kept it in a good shape. You can pick your seat, right behind the cabin. He's the owner of the truck, so cut through the cheese.. You do enclosed when you've a show car, otherwise open truck will do, just like car dealers do.

I used this company to ship my 1970 911E a few years back.
Reliable, quick, reasonable, driver stayed in contact with me from pick up to delivery. Would definitely use them again

I used steel toy carriers twice, and was very pleased. Ken is the owner 704-799-9999. They are on the east coast and shipped to me in KC. Tell him Adam in KC sent you

+1 for Thomas Sunday (see link above) - he transported my daily driver from MD to Boston and it was treated as one would expect for a show car. His company was very flexible with arrangements and the are all competent and friendly in all dealings.

Thanks for the tip and reference. Talked to Ken today and made arrangements for pickup and delivery.
I think I insulted him when I asked for some kind of "proof" of who he was - all I had was a name of a guy who said he had a truck and his phone number, and he was going to pick up a car that I have paid $$ for. Seemed like a legit question, huh? He said no one had ever asked him that before. We both laughed for quite a while. He did make some crack about our cars being nothing more than some expensive Volkswagens.

I also requested a quote from Sunday, and they responded quickly, but Ken offered a better deal for shipping the car plus some extra parts.

Good deal, that's funny. When he dropped off one of my cars there was a brand new McLaren in front of it. The funny thing is I thought my car was being shipped in an open trailer, but it showed up in an enclosed trailer. Cheapest price by far, and the best service I have had.

check out http://autotransport.instapage.com they give you real time quotes from drivers and what they will accept for shipping your car. it's a good resource so we don't get ripped off. You know when you call auto transport companies and say Porsche, I think the price goes up 20%! LOL Just wanted to throw this out there. Good Luck!

You have five posts and all have been to recommend the same shipping brokerage service. Seems to me that you are soliciting business, in which case per forum rules you should pay up and become a site sponsor.
