I've just read your thread start to finish after catching your upholstery images in Instagram.
It's all been said before but this thread is an inspiration and without a doubt, you have my favourite 964 out there.
Your changes and modifications are the exact same style I have been dreaming about for my 964.
Thanks for sharing and congratulations on exquisite taste and execution.
Can't wait to see the finished interior, especially the new dash panel!

Your generous comments are very much appreciated and I'm pleased you have found so much in this thread that interests you.
Good luck with your own and if this has inspired you in any way I'll be very happy
Cheers,
Paul

I just love this thread - cheers me up whenever I read it !! Might have to save up and do my seats like that too - they are the closest thing to 'singer' seats I've seen for sure !

Hey Paul,
All I can say is "You got it Bad"
Awesome car and thread!
That interior is bold and unique making this car REALLY special!
Looking forward to seeing the finished interior...
I wonder if that will be all???
Or is this going to be a continuous evolution??
BB seems to be coming to mind??
Great stuff

Hi Jotaking,
Thank you kindly sir
It won't be all, I have to complete the suspension set-up this year, new top mounts, bushings etcetera and that will more or less be the end of it.
Frank and I had similar engine specs but that's about as far as it goes, apart from the colour that is. He has done a terrific job but I have no future intentions to develop my engine any further, I can see the finish line.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Guys,
Update:
The seat cushions taking shape, these are the most time consuming parts of the trim and once these are completed the rest should follow quite quickly.
The skirt/side panel to the seat being stitched to the cover and piping.
Brass vents punched and fitted to the seat cushions.
It's a slow and exacting job but I'm very happy with the way these are taking shape and it will be worth waiting for.
Cheers for now,
Paul

Hi Chaps,
Thanks for your comments guys. John's talents extend far beyond upholstering, he and his gang completely restore all types of classics. His work comes in from all over the UK and Europe. He's now on Instagram @johncollins47 if you would like to follow his stuff.
Cheers,
Paul

Top notch!
a few pages back you mentioned you changed the fabspeed to RS. Was it the RSR you had before and what is the difference between the two?

It looks like Fabspeed's web-pages have changed since I las looked on there and TBH I'm not sure which model, the names have possibly changed from a year or two ago.
The problem was an awful droning at 3 - 3.6k rev band with the original silencer (I believe Frank - BB may possibly still have this set-up), I couldn't live with it and went it went back to Redtek for the 1st service Nick got in touch with Fabspeed and they recomended a different silencer for a 3.8 engine which I was told at the time was the RS version. I'm sure Fabspeed will be along shortly to give you the correct info, if not send them an email.
Anyway I'm pleased to say the new system works well.
Cheers,
Paul
