Default Scantool T-OBD or Hammer and aftermarket ECU chips

Has anyone used their OBD scanner with a Steve Wong chip? Were you able to get full menu options and function?

I have been able to interrogate the motronic and HVAC but nothing else. Any info would be appreciated.

So far no issues with the Hammer and Steve Wong chip.

+1 I've used the Scantool, Durametric (v5 & v6) and the Dutch PDT999 on a SW chipped ECU. Durametric gave me the most connection issues. The PDT999, none.

Thanks guys.
Good to know since I don't want to swap out my chip every time I run my codes.

Now the question is: What are the things you are trying/doing to get connections when you have trouble?
Are you rebooting? Cleaning contacts? Reinstalling the connector?

I had brief access to a hammer (thanks DFinnegan) and all modules connected, so I knew it wasn't my car.
I got the Dutch PDT999, solved all my problems

As I understand it, the Hammer and the PDT999 attempt to connect multiple times at initialization, the others may not.
