i still have an itch to own a CX500 Turbo, but I wonder if it’s best not to meet your young adult hero. Why do you miss it?

I think my 2001 BMW 1150 GS Adventure was most 964-like. Lotsa interesting air cooled noises, not fast but relaxing and comfortable.

GT3 RS? Well that’s definitely the Ducati Monster S4RS - dry clutch rattle!

That would be a great combo even today which speaks to the character of both of those machines!

I think I have owned somewhere near three dozen bikes in my life. I know I have ridden well over 100,000 miles (maybe approaching 200,00) and I have literally ridden around the United States. I used to throw a duffel across the rear seat and head out for a nice 3-4 day weekend. I will soon be unemployed and I am thinking a duffel bag will fit nicely in the frunk of the 964 and I can yet again head out for a long weekend / week or month.

What an outstanding pair! Nicely done.

Has anyone got/had a Ducati Hypermotard? I like the idea and the riding position suits my not so bendy body.
