I have a '99 VFR800 with lots of mods to suspension (SP2 front end and Ohlins shock).
I had a BMW S1000RR for a couple of years, sold it last August, what a weapon that was 155km/h in 1st gear...saw 270km/h down the straight on Phillip Island, miss that bike

Had a CX500 Turbo on the road for years...miss it lots. Got into racing and was lucky to own 2 RS 250's and 1 TZ 250. (And the ZX 10 in the pic) Now have a 1990 964 and a 2000 996. They defiantly fill the gap!

R1200R here (stock photo). Lots of torque and very nimble.

Are 964 bikers still a thing ?

The best answer to your question would likely be the Zundapp K800, a four cylinder curiosity from the pre war era and the closest motorcycle that I know of to a flat six? If you consider modern sport bikes, maybe the one here on the right, an R68 which was the first german made motorcycle that could compete with the best of the British motorcycles, capable of about 100 mph!

I have a 05 Ducati 999R and a 96 Ducati 916, a 1991 ZX7 and my track prostitute 2014 Aprilia RSV4. I know not very aircooled. Below the most recent arrival...
Now I am full blast into the 90s era.
BTW is anybody here close to Painesville, OH that could help me purchase a bike!?
