Default Upgrade 91C2 calipers/rotors first, MC/booster later?

I understand the only proper way to upgrade brakes on a 91C2 is to replace MC and booster to 993 hardware when changing to 3.6T calipers and rotors / RS rotors in the back.

My question is can I do the calipers/rotors first and MC booster later as that would suit my planning better or will I actually end up with worse breaking?

Thanks

Yes you can.
Shure, you gets a stiffer pedal but it's not a crazy difference between original and 993 MC/booster.

I've done both processes you mention many years back; same rotor/caliper combo installation and 993 M/C and booster. What you get with the stock 964 M/C booster system combined with larger calipers is longer brake pedal travel. That's caused by the same volume of brake fluid now having to fill the larger volume of the pistons in the bigger calipers. Moving to the larger 993 booster/M/C does shorten your brake pedal travel and it does make a real difference, particularly if you want to drive on the track. Then again, if you're not going to track the car then arguably why bother to use the bigger brake system components anyway? That's a lot of extra unsprung weight that rarely, if ever, is really working for you. Yea, yea, I know - it just looks cooler by far! LOL
