One thing you may want to consider for the Euro market you will need to fit a red rear fog light, stick it in the centre and you could sell the same part to both the LHD and RHD markets
I'll take it as far as I can before I will run out of time. I'm not planning to make this a business for myself. If anyone is interested to pickup this after this batch is done, please PM me.

Thanks!
Andrew

Are you making the brackets out of aluminum or stainless?

Undecided, right now I am bending soft steel 2x2 channel. Powder-coat to follow.

Thanks!

As far as period correctness and style, that one is spot on. It also matches the RUF 964 center reflector replacement panel with integrated reverse lights.

Just a different style to consider:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B011QI...YdL&ref=plSrch
» Length: 7 31/64" (19cm)
» Width: 3 11/32" (8.5cm)
» Thickness: 63/64" (2.5cm)

With anything LED, I'd just be concerned about lumens overkill. I've seen some stupid crazy bright LED driving lights on the road lately. I realize these are backup lights only though.

What do you guys think?

Looking very good. Does it drop 90 degrees from the top to the bumper or does it match the angle of the original piece? In other words do you end up seeing the returns of the corner lights?
Are you powder coating in satin or matte black?
Thanks
Marc

Yes, it matches the angle and curvature. See post #229 on page 16.

Finally found the proper edge trim, looks like I will be able to make the corners with a little heat. Mounting hardware: I think one without the rubber buffers are still better. Everyone has made a decision on the colour now, so the frames go for powder coat next week.

Thanks!

Hi Andrew ,
It looks nice, you think it can fit and be strong ?
I saw they do the red light as well, if that can be fit in center...otherwise maybe left side white and right red ...?

It might work, I'll test it out.

Frame in the proper colour with the edge trim attached, still not happy with the brackets.

Looks good so far to me. It's a great start. I always envisioned the kits only being a starting point and the rest would be up the end user to make how they want them.

Black or silver centers gets my vote. I would take either one lol.
