More interior "back bait" shots (from Mobile.de). Love the clean transmission tunnels!

From Insta-Mam

The Keen Project Backdate # 1. Based on a 964 chassis and powered by a 4.0 engine Many know this is where The Keen Project started! So happy to have this pup on the road. 4 years in the making. More details to come but wanted to give the magician @brysonthepainter a huge shout out. The entire body was designed by us and molds were made. Hand built fenders, quarters, bumpers and hood by Bryson to Keen Project spec. Lots more to come from this car! #TheKeenProject

Default Turbo S 964 rear widebody

Does anyone make Turbo S rear Flares or quarter pannels?I’d like Carbon Fiber if possible.

Default Have not posted our #06 yet

Did not check the forum for a long time. Seems the discussions on 964 backdates have slowed down.
Obviously all is said and people can now go to one of the many workshops which have done a restomod too.
When Jetta started this threat some years ago with the pictures of our green RSR which we did with DP Motorsport that was quite different...
For a long time I was convinced that only a widebody design (no matter if you prefer 930 or RSR or ST/R or Singer flares...) provides the basis for having a nice longhood.
Since we designed our #06 (car got finished in March) I have to admit, I was wrong.....
A more narrow body and wheels with less offset gives the car a totally different appearance.
What do you guys think?

Looks great! Rear fenders look a bit 993ish, along with the retractable rear spoiler. What model is the doner car?

Although I am not a huge fan of backdates I always found your work to be aesthetically appealing and superior in just about every way over the others. Very nicely done although if I were to spend the money I would prefer the WB myself. I know instantly when it is a back date so why not take it to the extremes. Great color what is it?

What flares would those be equal to width wise?
Years ago my friend put 930 Front Turbo front flares both Front & Rear on a 1970 Targa...
Very similar look as that.

try to answer all in one msg.
the donor car was a 964 carrera 4 originally which we backdated in 2011 (our RSVT #01) and we now converted into a C2 and redesigned again (RSVT#06).
we found a body of a G-model where the fenders where extended by exactly 1 inch and we loved the shapes (where named carrera wide body)
so we transfered that to our 964 and did quite a bit of modeling to also make the bumpers etc. look nice....
then we built molds, and produced carbon / kevlar parts and decided to go for linnen metallic (color code L550) plus chrome.
this color was chosen by Porsche for very few late G-models and 964s, but especially for speedster versions(see pics below).
however we could not find any car where this color got combined with chrome trims.....
here some pics of the various development stages

we did NOT want to have Turbo/RSR/ST fender shapes this time, because our intention was to keep the original 17' Fuchs wheels!
many people don't like these wheels because of the size of the rim beds.
we saw an opportunity to use them on purpose and get a bit of the style of the 911 R from 1967.
what we descovered now was , that the narrow body is simply much faster, aerodinamically better.
it's the same effect what you discover when you change your 964 C2 or C4 into a WTL, you become slower!

another real advantage of these wheels is, super lightwheight AND the availability of REAL high performance tires from Michelin.
The new pilot sport cup 2 is available and we have 225 on a 8 inch(front) and 265 on a 9 inch (rear)

Longhood Friday!
This car looks like it needs some sorting, but it's got some nice retro touches none the less.

At $26K one might think it would snatched up rather quickly?

Really like the interior in that car, looks like the carpet is just thrown in there but it still looks great!

The chrome trim around the windows completely changes the look too!

I just discovered that I was not showing any pictures of our interior...
Sorry I obviously got lost in the bumper / WTB discussions, here they are.
