Interesting discussion on tyres since I felt my Bridgestones were losing their edge yesterday at Bedford (the molten rubber in the gaps between the tread was the clue!). There were two lovely 964RS's there which were well driven and appeared to be chasing GT3's from what I saw! A couple of videos for those that like to see a track through the windscreen of a 964:

Will have to add Beford to the list next year given its not too far out of London and has heaps of run off......acres of it by looks of it.

Well worth a day out. I think it's a lovely circuit and it does have acres of run-off so you can push the limits a bit without too much solid scenery to hit. GT circuit is 3.8miles and has one very long and fast straight and lots of lovely corners!:D

oh, but that was with a standard exhaust.....it was noise sensitive back then, just checked their website and they're still [static] 101 dB(A), Drive-by 87.5 dB(A). |

That will all depend on if we can raise at least 12 of us? That would work out at about £60 a head. We'd be looking at a weekend at the end of October as per previous years.

Soooo does it work?!?!?!?!?
....I'll get before and after noise tested at Oulton in a couple of weeks and post the results. There was no discernable difference in the garage, but that's not the best testing environment! |
