Latest Driving Film inc. Stelvio
I've just finished making my 2012 film of a trip to the Alps in a couple of 964s from last weekend. We took in the Stelvio Pass, the Silvretta Pass amongst other awesome roads.
Have a look at my little trailer film. If you want to watch the full 20 minute version the link for that is below as well. (It is locked so that my friends don't watch it before our Premiere Night.
If you like the film, positive comments are welcomed. Bear in mind it is more of a 'Road/Holiday' film than a 'Car' film. Watch them on the youtube page in HD for best quality.
Cheers
Alex

Love it, love it! The views, the music...
What a fun time you guys had.
The "barrier" scene was hillarious...
I understand the feeling when you jumped the queue ahead of the motorcycle!
You'd think motos would be so fast on the twisties, but I've found only superbikes can keep up with these cars when it gets really tight...

Great stuff!
It makes me really excited as I'll be driving to Lake Como tomorrow morning and then next weekend we're off to the Alps! I'm going to try and get over to Stelvio whilst we're there too. Can't wait!!
Keep the movies coming guys!!

Burning Brakes
Love the films but there's no way some Brit's in a couple of old Porsche's would go by me on any of my bikes (what were they Gold Wings for God's sake?? LOL)!!
Great job!!

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. I love our annual road trips - in fact I'm planning another to South West France in September.
In terms of motorbikes, most of them are big cruisers, but I have to say in thousands and thousands of miles of European roads the only bikes that can keep up with me on anything with a few turns in are serious bikes ridden by 'proper' riders and these are VERY few and far between. Bikes are too quick in a straight line but just can't cut it under braking, or through the turns. Slower than my granny in Subuaru Justy!!
Thanks again, and I'll post the next film in early October.
Cheers

Three Wheelin'
My favourite line @ 17:14mins "Faahcking c8nt. He's not going to ruin this road for me." to the tune of Paolo Nuttini - brilliant.
Almost like being there. Almost.
Thanks for posting this.

That was awesome. After driving the 964 all over f*#&ing Houston today to find a brake rotor for the family truckster (ordered them online from a Honda place, was shipped two different ones, which I discovered after I finished the front left)...I'm moving back to Europe so I can at least drive those roads on my day off...

I know for myself I can only push the car so hard as no matter what I'm still the 51 year old git in the sports car ----- but full leathers on and pull the smoked visor down on my Duc or R1 and I'm transformed into a hoodlum/Rossi (well at least in my mind ). For just sheer thrills, speed and fun a sports bike has it over a sports car any time every time!!
