Supercharged 964 Speedster - pic Heavy (and some of her siblings)
Warning - lots of pics - and some not of a 964 - I could not resist the chance to have all three in the thread.
Lots of history of the Speedster is here.
I just got this car - and a lot of postings from previous spottings by Rennlisters are here.
Some pics of the Speedster with Siblings. ye .. yes .. I get it - before everyone piles on - some purists think the original "je nais se quoi" has been lost with the Strosek - well I bought it because of the Strosek (and the SC) - If I ever want to revert to the original body I will but I simply love the look of this just as it is
I will follow on in a moment with some Pics of the Interior - the PO fitted a 993 center console, still trying to decide if I want to keep it in - points of view welcome !!

As discussed - some interior pics. Views on the center console welcome.
Engine Bay with Supercharger coming in next - there has been a lot of interest in how the SC fits withe the unmodified lid.

Exterior Pictures. Like I said at the beginning - my photography skills stink and I know some of you guys are experts - so bear with me.
OK - thats all she wrote. Got to drive the car a little more this weekend - absolutely fantastic - think I may need to clean my ISV - when warm idle is rough, but apart from that she is a bomb. Just loving it !!!

I really like the Strosek rear bumper design...flows nicely and sits tight against the body.
Thanks for the pics, it's nice to see the design from many different angles.

I can't say that I think Strosek did any better than the original design on your Speedster, but I can clearly see your passion for the cars far outweighs any scratches any other member sees.
Enjoy all your fine rides in good heath

I like the look (except for the headlights) but what really interests me is the SC and how it compares to a stock 3.6. Have you had a chance to drive both and could you offer an opinion?
I'm also a bit of an audiophile and while I can appreciate many don't particularily care about the sound in these cars, I do. It looks like you have a pretty decent setup if the HU is any indication. That looks like an interesting sub installation in rear seat delete, I've never seen one like that before.
Thanks for the pics on what is a pretty unique example. Hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of her.

You know hamah - I really am not experienced enough with the 911 to offer anything that is worthy but ........ I had driven a number of 1993-1994 964 911 C2S's - some convertible and some coupe - this is like a completely different car with the Bilsteins and SC. I did drive one 1993 Turbo but the suspension was a dog so did not really get to push it - this is obviously a completely different feel to the stock engine with an extra 120HP or so from stock with the Strosek exhaust system and TPC Supercharger. I just love how this drives compared to the other cars, it does not like to be below 3000 and feels at its best between 3500 and 5500. The pull from the SC is hugely different and I like the fact that there is no lag with the SC. The noise from the engine as it is growling between 2000 and 35000 - and the whistle from the Sc when it revs up past 4500 is just sublime.
The car came to me with a Kenwood Excelon “flip around” head unit with in dash cd plus 6 disc changer - I just changed it for a NEW KENWOOD KDC-X996 CD/MP3/WMA with Sat Radio Unit. It has a 4 channel * 50 watt Alpine amplifier to power the Polk Audio front and rear component speakers , a 300w 2 channel JL Audio amplifier to power the dual 8” JL Audio subwoofers. Strosek built the custom built enclosure for the sub-woofers at the factory I believe.
As you may ahve seen from other posts I was looking for and have just found an OEM CR-1 as well just in case I want to revert it to stock some day.
Still - with all of that - though I am glad these pieces are in the car as I am also an AudioPhile with quite an expensive taste for equipment in the home - I would still rather listen to the engine

Thanks Blake - someone had PM'd me a month or so back and suggested you may be compiling a 964 Speedster registry - is this the case?
