Default Anyone currently running a Steve Wong chip?

I have a Steve Wong (911 Chips) chip in my 993 which corrects a stalling issue with MY95 cars that have a LWF. The chip is great and I am considering one for the 964. Does anyone here have any experience or feedback using this chip in a 964?

I like mine as it wakes up the car a bit.

I subsequently had some engine upgrades so now need to get a more customized remap, but for a stock motor upgrade I think the SW chip is worth having.

+ 964, I have cat bypass and cup pipe with SW Chip, great upgrade, not a lot of difference in power, the engine just seems more responsive.

I run one (LWF, A/C) and it is great. Steve Weiner. of Rennsport can do this for you as well as Steve Wong.

Seems like the Steve W's have a lock on the market here.. ;-)

my stalling issue was only fixed when I finally tried a bosch hammer system adaptation (yes, the spirited drive thing is just an myth).

steve wong chip maybe helped 10% but not resolved.

EDIT ... yes, the chip definately made the engine feel smoother in the higher rpms.

I have the Wong chip with standard dual mass flywheel, and I also have found that the hammer/scantool adaptation is necessary after a DME reset / battery disconnect. My adapted value with the Wong chip right now is 130h. With the factory chip it was 134-138h. (Non-adapted value after DME reset being 128h)

SW chip here with mods in signature. Car idles much better and have had no stalling issues since. Like 911Jetta said, it seems more responsive in the lower rpms... may just be the placebo effect though.
