I'm looking to pull the trigger on some Zuffenhaus wheels. Standard finish.

I still think I like the car with the correct era wheels. Hard to beat a set of E88s or Speedlines.

The new Fuchs are pretty good looking, just not quite like the vintage look...Zuffenhaus replicas look more like the real thing in my opinion.

Fuchs or Braids(Fuchs) are on my wish list. But last night when I polished my D90s I really admired them too.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the offsets are way off for the Braids on a 964...not sure if you could get them to fit properly.

Feel as though the 964 has slightly too modern lines to pull off the vintage fusch's.

I (partially) agree. I'm fitting the new Fuchs to my GP white 964, but am putting a ducktail on to reference back to those older cars. It will interesting to see if that is the tweak that does it. It's about proportion and balance for me.

I think it comes down to wheel offset and wheel width, and narrow body 964s really don't have too much room for either.

I thought Braid just released a new 16" version of the Fuchs that are for the 964. They are killer expensive. like $3,200.

One of the appealing aspects of the 964 is that you can take the look of the car back to an early look with Fuchs wheels and early decklid, or you can stay with period bits (cup wheels and stock decklid or RSA wing) for a classic look, or use later wheels to give a more contempory look. What a solid design that has such range and flexibility. And they drive great to boot.

Looks great! With the 964 the 80s or 70s Fuchs wheels looks nice. I love when the Fuchs are painted black.
There is no "correct" wheel other than what one feels he/she like best!
