Thanks. I will gladly post some pictures once they are on the car. However, currently the 964 is hibernating and most likely it will be on the road in late April at the earliest...

^ Nice!

What are the owners of the genuine Fuchs using for center caps? I understand that original Porsche items should be a perfect fit, but can you confirm? Metal or plastic caps - is there a difference in fit or colour match? I think aesthetically the flat caps would work better than the concave ones.

I got them from JZM in the UK. They colour match an OEM centre cap to the black Fuchs. I dealt with Simon Bunce

Do you have pictures of yours, and what you want for them?

Thanks,

Pics of mine are on the previous page.
They are new, original fuchs, only did 500 km with them
For the complete set with black Porsche logo centercaps + spacers (for the rear wheels) + new Dunlop rubber I would like to have €2600

Location in near Antwerp, Belgium

What about the owners of the silver / RSR finished Fuchs? And anyone tried both the metal as well as the plastic caps? If so, how is the fit?

The factory plastic caps seem like a good colour match?

...as do the metal caps?

One could of course use the Fuchs center caps, but I much prefer the Porsche crest in the cap...

The cap supplied with my wheels is Black. I've never been tempted to change them.

very nice. Still have a ducktail for the 964 lying around in the basement.. still not sure if I will have it painted and install it on my 964. Looking at yours I feel like bringing it to the painter on Monday ;-)

For the centercaps, I have also the black fuch ones. The genuine porsche centercaps which should fit; are these the same then the centercaps of the Cup wheels?

I went through this decision last summer: Fuchs vs Porsche center caps? Black vs silver nuts? I had a new set of plastic, concave center caps that I tried.

It took about 5 seconds to decide that I liked the look of Porsche center caps and silver nuts because of their contrast against black.

Here it is on my car, 7" fronts and 9" rears:

Rear wheel shot taken immediately after installation.

Out in the wild, during the last drive before winter storage:

Lovely looking car. And I hadn't thought about the lug nuts - the silver ones are a nice touch (although one probably wouldn't use locking wheel nuts in combination of the silver nuts).

By the way, do you have HID front lights on your car or am I seeing things?

Those are H4's with LED's (not switched on in the photo). Retains the classic look but the current draw is lower (am also running the RS pulley upgrade) and intensity is greater than halogens, at the expense of a less than ideal beam pattern. I don't drive much at night but I wanted the car to have better visibility by oncoming traffic with the brighter LED's.
