I am looking at options of installing a LED third brake light inside the targa screen either top or bottom. I don't really want the hoop spoiler option and the coupe option externally at the top of the rear screen won't work on a targa.

Anyone tried this? What fitting did you use?

I thought a VW golf option from late 90's/early 2000's might work or perhaps the early TT coupe type. Otherwise the cayman type perhaps? Has anyone tried these?

I want a good light output and for it not to be too dependant on the viewing angle as most others don't have the diffuser to spread the light.

All the power supplies are already in the loom on the rear shelf so should be fairly simple to get working.

I found that one can easily stick an led strip to the back of the rear window rubber on a coupe. On the inside at he top end

Maybe this is an option for your targa aswell
