Default diameter for heater hose

I am getting a list together of things that need doing to my car over winter while it is in the garage. I was wondering if some one could save me time and tell me the diameter of the red/pink flexible hose that goes from heat exchanger to the metal flapper things. I need to know the length of hose required for one side and the diameter as these are missing from my car for some time now. I do not know what effect they have being absent?

Intend to buy some heat proof hose generic type as it is cheaper but need measurements. Any help will save me having to jack up car twice

I bought mine from merlin motorsport, 76mm red single layer silicone ducting 1meter length was enough for three hoses or two plus **** ups £23. I just took measurements off the rotten ones I took off.

Also bought four 60-80mm stainless hose clips £6.

As for the effect of them being absent is that you're getting no heat into the cabin.

I've used the 3"-dia. 'SCEET' hose from this aircraft supplier for years.
Great fit, no problems at all, and still rubbery and intact after years of heat soaking and various disassemblies.
A no-brainer alternative in both 'technology' and Porsche pricing.

Thanks for the tip, I found a local vendor that sells 12ft lengths for $15
