[QUOTE=Henry964;9047164]I can´t convince myself to sell the 964, and I can´t have both.QUOTE]

Hurray!!!!

Comparing the 964 C4 to my Carrera 3 I would say that I should've crashed the 964 if it handled like the C3. There is about 16 years of difference between the two and the 964 is very, very confidence inspiring, yet feels very mechanical with no "electronic" intrusion into your controls.

Most people here know that the 964 is not the fastest thing on the road it is not the best performance for the buck. But that is not why we own these cars. So why compare one statistical element when our choice is predominantely emotion.

Newer Porsches are quicker and should be quicker, they need to keep up with competition - and evolution is a great thing.

I personally think the 964 C4 is the most fun road going Porsche ever built... and that is comparing it against the entire range of Porsches in the last (almost) 50 years - yes, I excluded the pre 911 years.

+1, what Navaros says up there ^

"FUN"!!!! Yes, there are faster cars on the road, but I doubt many put a grin on your face as wide as a 964 does.

I recently bought an older (air-cooled!) Kawasaki 750, and I believe a 964 is about as close to the raw bike riding experience a car can get.

PS. I have made a decision to ONLY buy vehicles that are AIR-COOLED from now on ha ha
