Default Front Trunk Leak - Part Number

Hi,

I seem to have a water leak into the front trunk. After searching around I think I may have found where the water is entering. There is a space between the fender rubber seal and the trunk gasket seal. You can see this in the pictures below and there is rust starting to form in the same spot.

So, does anyone know the part number for the little rubber fender seal? I looked in the PET and could not find it.

Any help and/or suggestions on how to fix/clean this up would be appreciated.

Thanks

No picture made it impossible to find.

Thank you, I appreciate it.

Do you know if this seal requires any special installation tools or does it just pull out and push in?

Thanks

That seal is a pita, i believe you have to break a spot weld in order to move the fender enough to r&r

No, say it isn't so, is there no way to install this without breaking the weld?

There are a few threads that take off the fender or attempt to replace this seal.

There is a good thread with pics from a (UK?) member who had some rust forming in this area and had it repaired. I had the same thing and once the fender was off, the extent of the rust was surprising.

This is going to be much more than just replacing the seal I'm afraid.
