Hi Steve, sorry I didn't reply yet on PCGB. As you can see still a long way to go before I can join in Spa.

Default Still sliding down the slippery slope...but not for long

After a long period of business travels and holidays, finally back on the project

Past weekend was excellent, 2 full days of dismantling:

- emptied out front trunk
- removed front suspension and steering
- removed rear trailing arms

Still to go:

- cleaning out engine compartment
- cleaning out interior

Enjoy!

Default AC delete

Will a complete AC delete cause any faults or any problems with the heating control unit?

ghhally: Well, I will say you've got a "tough row to hoe" with replacing that front end mess. I know my hat's off to you.

Mine had the air con condensor, all the pipes to it and compressor removed and there have been no problems.

There were cars built in 1989 that were designated as '89s for the Euro LHD market (not sure about UK). When I was looking into my 90 C2 (October 1989 build), I found quite a few "model 1989" cars built a few months earlier.

Just over a week ago, the car was transferred to the body shop for the big push.....uhhh...pull.

Before leaving I did a complete wash down of the car, was very pleased to see that the undercarriage and inner wheel wells came out so clean!
