Default Parts for the 993 that we can benefit using?

I know that there are many mechanical/electrical 993 parts that we can use in ours 964 and some of them are better/cheaper than the original 964 part

I would be nice to have a comprehensive list of these parts, dose anybody have such a list?

Does this need to be accompanied by the related windshield, or will the 964 windshield work w/ the 993 seal?

Engine mounts are way cheaper and a popular alternative.

If I am not mistaken, the cab top latches from the 993 top latch recall are a very cost effective replacement for the 964 ones. I just cannot remember the part # for the recall kit. I think that it was a huge price difference, iirc.

I swapped a 993 steering rack in mine, straight bolt in. And you can always use 993 brakes, either with adaptors, or with 993 knuckles. 993 lower control arms can be used, but you have to do 993 ball joints. 93 gearboxes will go in the c2's.

993 Pedal box:

1. Less moving parts - bushes etc.
2. Pedals much closer together - allowing better heel toe actuation and a place to rest your left foot on long journeys ( early 964s have spaced out brake and clutch pedals with the resting block between them ).

Ps. 993 door handles rock!

You need...
Inner trim
Outer trim
Screen
Bonding kit

But I would say it's not a plus to do on a 964 as the 993 boys will tell you especially in the wet/ cold uk

Hazard warning switch (nice and red for the 993/968) dull black on the 964/944)

993 switch (fogs demister) inserts are nicer than 964 ones and only a few pence/cents
