FWIW, those of you with the a$$ squatted may want to check your rake. Front/Rear rake is very important on these cars for proper handling and weight transition when driving.

My picture accentuates the rear rake due to the angle. its more subtle than that. You def don't want to be a$$ down, face up, needs to be face down a$$ up like the song you know?

You may want to check your steering stops, chances are that you have the 6mm ones since your Targa is a 1990. The 10mm steering stops part# 964-347-352-02 that were part of the Technical Bulletin for 17” wheels will prevent rubbing.

Simple yet IMO one of the best looks for 964
Bilstein B6 & HR + 7mm spacers all around on Cup 1 Style wheels.
1991 C2

Thanks for the heads up!

I did all sorts of research before making the switch from 16” wheels and didn’t catch this. Hopefully an easy change...

100% agree with your statement. It's amazing what a couple of "small" mods can do to this car.

It is an easy switch out of the spacers, but you will arguably need to check/adjust the toe.

Yes, very easy. I used this DIY as a guide after taking careful measurements. The trickiest part of the whole install is getting the dust boots back on the steering rack, it can be a b!tch but a set of bicycle tire levers will make the task a breeze. You should be able to get your toe spot on or at least very close, then take your car to your mechanic for a quick check on the alignment rack.

LOL! Good job revolution ! One of the most classic RL posts. I hadn’t seen it in a while - thanks for bumping it back up. My 964 on PSS10’s and BBS RS GT’s is in here somewhere but I’ve no idea where.
