just swoped my front tyres from 205.50 to 225.45.17.
Ive noticed they seam a lot firmer, but allso ive had a small lock up and a small front end slide!
The tyre are bridgestone re070,s (second hand 4mm). I got em as a experiment didnt want to spend £300 o r a pair that didnt fit/.work.

Iam a bit uncertain as wot to do, i hate buying tyres theres so many options.

Track tyres are to much for road use, never get to temp.
Road tyres over heat.

I was thinkin mayb 215.45 either ad08 or rsr?

You need to stay as close as possible to the stock diameters, which is 25" for AD08's.

The 225/45 is the way to go....

I guess you've now got different tyres front and rear and therefore different levels of grip so that might be the reason for the lock up.

Yeah so2,s on the back.
I thought the wider higher performance tyre will remove the lock up/front wheel slide, may of been the road surface?
The re070 is supposed to be a very good tyre, cant ever remember the previous s02,s sliding. Ive had em lock up before, even moor so now ive got the 993 front calipers.

My abs has never worked, think the ecu is faulty.

Think ill run with them for a bit, need to save up for engine fix.
