On my (now sold) RSA I just put another stock cooler in series stuck up against the A/C condenser. Had the cooler, all I needed was some -16 line/fittings/adapters. Couldn't use the A/C at less than freeway speed since the fan had to be removed, but it worked well enough even with my half-assed R134 conversion. Since yours doesn't have A/C, I see no reason to spend 5-6-7X the money.

For back-to-back comparison, the faux 993RS has a "real" second cooler and the temps were consistent with the RSA on the same hot days I ran both cars.

Actually, no. Even when the fan kicks in, the temp gauge is always at 10 o'clock. It's to do with the high ambient temp, and lack of cooling capacity of the single oil cooler. It only drops to 9-9.30 when I'm cruising at min 40 mph on the highway.
