I have the dual outlet set-up. However, it has a droan between 3 & 4K. I solved it by adding a restrictor to the left outlet for DD, then remove it when I DE.
I would suggest their dual outlet with the cap on the left outlet, so, if in the future you decide to add the second outlet, it would be easy.
As to the sound..... a deep GROWL!!
Sorry that I couldn't make it on Sat - looked like a great time. Spent the weekend dropping the engine, instead of DE'ing at Lightning.

Oh np next time Lou.
The single outlet seems to be already setup to add the dual at a future date. Is basically just capped from my understanding on their site.

It's a 2 1/4" diameter SS plate that fits inside of the left exhaust tip. It's held in by 2 flat head screws, which have the heads on the inside. I widened the slots to accept the plate. The screws are 180 apart. To install, I position the screw heads with the slots parallel to the flow, insert the plate, then spin it 90 degrees to block off most of the opening. On the outside, I use 2 nuts on each screw to lock them in position.
Once it's positioned properly, I just reinsert the tip onto the muffler... dual exhaust look, with a little rumble out of the left, but the proper amount of backpressure for daily driving.
For DE'ing, I just pull the tip off and remove the plate...now full dual exhaust.

I totally agree. I had it as a single tip and loved it. Added the second tip after I had the bumper cap painted and installed and the drone was disappointing. It also lost the nice deep rumble. I worked out a fix to cap the second opening, but add the second tip. I changed my set up recently and have been thinking about selling the Fabspeed if you are interested.

so correct me if I am wrong sounds good with only one side open , but if both sides open has a drone?
What other option would you guys suggest? I just want one tip for now and don't really want the cat by pass fuel smell.
So just the primary bypass and where from?

I got the the Fabspeed primary-by pass...nice product...
I have a stock cat and secondary...nice sedate rumble...the most quite of the combos...no drone at cruise...sounds like a Pcar should but not overwhelming, unlike the stock exhaust...
If you want it alittle louder, my wrench says to get a race cat...fabspeed has those too...

that is what i am thinking but honestly Phil concerned because seems that people are blowing up the secondary exhausts.
Is that only when they have a cat delete and primary or just with teh primary delete.

Rob, here is a link to a thread of guys who have blown their secondary mufflers:
http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...l-muffler.html
They still seems to favor the sound with a primary bypass.

I've just heard of a few secondary's blowing out. Is it a systematic problem or "it may happen" situation?
It might simply when there's two bypasses...cat and primary, there's too much exhaust pressure for the secondary to handle...is that when theses secondaries are blowing?
My wrench says that the cat serves as a "muffler"...and it will be significant louder if it is bypassed. We all know that the G pipe by-pass, keeping the primary muffler, is loud...ummmm
If my secondary blows out, I'll buy a single muffler from Fabspeed or FVD...in the meantime, I'm enjoying the sound...

I went from a Fabspeed cat bypass with a Fabspeed single tip and really liked the sound. And no drone. When I added the second tip, drone and the nice rumble was gone. On my current 964, I have the Fabspeed cat bypass with a primary bypass. Sounds good, but certainly quieter than with the Fabspeed exhaust. A little louder than stock, but not much. I miss the Fabspeed rumble, but went with the primary bypass to match the theme of the rest of the car and mods.
